Pro-Salg takes pleasure in presenting this, the 19th edition of the Culture in Norway handbook for travel agents and tour operators.

This handbook is a joint venture between the Norwegian county municipal authorities, individual cultural institutions, Pro-Salg.

Culture in Norway is distributed to tour operators both at home and abroad, to all Norwegian legations overseas. Many tour operators have incorporated elements of the guide in their respective programmes.

Also in this year’s edition of Culture in Norway features several Norwegian artists, each with a certain connection to a particular county. Some of the artists are internationally famous, while others represent a younger and upcoming addition to the Norwegian art society.

Pro-Salg wishes to thank the county municipalities and other contributors to this guide. It is this close cooperation with regional players within the cultural heritage sector and travel industry that enables us to produce and develop Culture in Norway.
